On November 2, 2024, the Order of Malta – Thailand held its 4th sharing love activity for the sick and the underprivileged at St. Mark’s Church in Pathum Thani. This initiative is part of their mission to uphold faith and care for the sick and the needy (Tuitio Fidei et Obsequium Pauperum). Volunteers and members of the Order of Malta, along with the first aid unit from St. Louis Hospital and many community volunteers from St. Mark’s Church and nearby, collaborated to provide comprehensive care for bedridden patients and the needy, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
The activities included haircuts, nail trimming, serving breakfast and lunch, sharing personal experiences, offering encouragement, health care, and distributing essential supplies such as rice, eggs, instant noodles, cooking oil, soy sauce, dish soap, and laundry detergent. A significant aspect of the event was the spiritual care led by Father Adriano Pelosin and Father Chatree, the pastor. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this sharing initiative.
