Continuing our tradition of helping the sick and the poor to keep warm during the harsh winter months, this year The Order of Malta Thailand donated 3,000 blankets for the needy in 6 dioceses in the North and North East of Thailand.
The blanket donation was kicked off on 17 December 2022 by Confrere Adrian Borg Cardona, representing the Order of Malta Thailand, went to Chiang Mai and presented the first lot of blankets to Bishop Francis Xavier Vira Arpondratana , Bishop of Chiang Mai diocese , and on the same day, went to Chiang Rai to hand over the blankets to Fr. Pichet Saengthien S.J., President of Jesuit Foundation for Education
This donation of Order of Malta blankets have brought the warmth of the Holy Infant Jesus to the underprivileged children, the destitute hill tribe people, and the elderly as well as uplifted their spirits this Christmas season. The Order of Malta Thailand continues our tradition of serving the Sick and the Poor.
