On April 6, 2025, members of the Order of Malta Thailand undertook a pilgrimage to the Blessed Fr. Nicholas Bunkerd Shrine, located in Tha Kham Subdistrict, Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom Province. On this occasion, the members participated in a Holy Mass, presided over by Father Carlo. We were also honored by the presence of Monsignor Andrew Visanu Thanya-anan, the manager of the Blessed Fr. Nicholas Bunkerd Shrine, who delivered an informative lecture on the life and legacy of Blessed Father Nicholas Bunkerd Kitbamrung.
Following the lecture, we had the opportunity to visit the museum dedicated to Father Nicholas’s life and history. This allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of his biography and various missions. His life’s journey served as a profound testament to the immense and steadfast love he had for Jesus Christ. Despite facing imprisonment, illness, and suffering until the very end of his life, his faith never wavered.
