Volunteers
Volunteering is an opening up of oneself through one’s talents and gifts to serve the sick, the poor, young and old, experiencing an enriching fulfillment through this work of charity. The Order’s volunteers receive first-hand personal experience and social awareness of situations, working alongside members in the many projects and activities to alleviate the poor.
The Order of Malta’s mission in part is to alleviate the suffering of the poor, the sick, and the forgotten, to treat them in high regard with respect, care and love. We accomplish this through our medical, social and humanitarian works.
