Immediate needs

The Order of Malta Thailand is known to respond swiftly to requests for help. COVID19 highlighted the ongoing needs of the poor. Members and volunteers distributed parcels containing necessities, including masks and sanitizers, to communities in Bangkok and upcountry. This happens throughout the year as per the needs. For example, in 2019, members and volunteers helped flood victims in the province of Ubon Ratchathani where tropical storms Podul and Kajiki had caused severe flooding. In 2021 two service vehicles were donated for transportation of covid-19 patients and medical supplies.
